BAD GIRLS: Colette

BAD GIRLS: Colette
This week we toast Colette, one of France's baddest of the bad! Writer, performer, sensualist and girl rebel, Colette was the first to write of woman's longing for love, freedom and fun. She had an insatiable appetite for life - and for wine. Here's what our Colette had to say about Le Grape:
"The vineyard and wine are great mysteries. Alone in the vegetable kingdom, the vine gives true understanding of the savor of the earth. And how faithfully it is translated! Through it we realize that even flint can be living, yielding, nourishing. Even the unemotional chalk weeps in wine, golden tears." Colette, Prisons et Paradis
Zette loves to read! Any other Scribes de Wine you recommend? xo
